 PARADISE:
 

 

 

 

Full Definition of PARADISE

 

1:    Heaven, as the final abode of the righteous.

2:   A place or state of bliss, felicity, or delight

3:   A place of extreme beauty, delight, or happiness.

4:   A state of supreme happiness; bliss.

 

Paradise is a place of blessing where the righteous go after death. The word paradise is usually used as a synonym for "heaven" (Revelation 2:7). We must remember too that we sit in heavenly places with Jesus (Ephesians 1:2-3), which is a place of bliss and blessings. We can have happiness right here on earth in Christ Jesus, and only in Christ Jesus our Lord. The life Jesus lived was a life of paradise here on earth because He stayed in connection with the Father of Heaven. Jesus spoke to the malefactor who was crucified with Him, and said, "Verily, I say unto thee, Today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43). Jesus was going to be with the Father, amen.
