God Loves You when He's Correcting you:
In both the Old and New Testaments, God's correction and discipline are seen as evidence of His love (Proverbs 3:11-12; Hebrews 12:5-6). In fact, if we never experience God's correction in our life it is a sign that we are "illegitimate" children (Hebrews 12:8). Discipline is not punishment. Rather, it is God's way of training us to walk in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
