Questions:

1).     Look at the typical shoes of the Roman soldier on back cover. Write down the distinctive features that you notice.

There's the sword of the Spirit, the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth, the shield of faith, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shoes of peace

2).    Why do we put on the gospel of peace?

We put this piece on because we need to be fully prepared for anything that will come our way. The gospel of peace is the message of Jesus Christ, which He gave to all who believe and trust in Him.

3).    What is required to become a child of God?

We must believe in our hearts, confess with our mouth that Jesus is the Son of God, which is the gospel of peace.

4).    What understanding we have when we have on the gospel of peace?

When we are ready with the gospel of peace, we live with the understanding that we are continually under attack from Satan.

5).    Concerning the peace shoes; what are the two purposes God supplies His soldiers?

The two purpose of the peace of the shoes is to be defensive and to be offensive, which is to defend us against the "flaming arrows of the evil one."

6).    Read Romans 6:1-6 and explain it.

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ² God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?³ Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? ⁴ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: ⁶ Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (God is not pleased if we misuse His grace. We must die daily with Christ as believers. We are new creatures in Christ Jesus, and we have a union with Him. We must have confidence in our position in Christ.)

7).    How do we keep our belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness  fasten? (We use the Word of God every time.)

8).    When Satan stabs us from behind, what should we remember?

We must dig in deeper, and say, "It is written, if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." AMEN.

9).    Explain how you would share your hope and faith.

I truly stand on God's promises to me, and share what God has done in my life personally. My faith is in God's Word! We must wait and believe, because "It is written!"

10).  Read 2 Thessalonians 2:15, explain please.

"Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." We are believers, and we must stand on that belief no matter what. Stand fast is what Apostle Paul was encouraging them to do; God's Word is sure and our foundation.

11).   What happens when we put on our Father's shoes?

I was so inspired with this one! My fathers' shoes! Wow! I am reminded of the footprint in the sand too. God promised me that He would carry me when things get rough. I trust that! Hallelujah!

12).  With these shoes how do we dig in deeper?

We dig in deeper by studying God's Word, standing on His promises, and walking in peace with everyone, and by following the Holy Spirit's led.

13).  Explain the two types of peace.

The two types of peace are (Peace with God, and Peace of God). Peace with God establishes our relationship with Him, and as a result, we can experience the peace of God. AMEN.

14).  Explain to the best of your knowledge, "Go Shoes."

I would say, its carrying the Gospel to the world!!

15).   Standing firm is not only about digging in, but about what else according to day four?

Its not all about digging in, but moving forward in faith in our God. These weapons will help us to stand firm in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

16).  Using the strategy session on day five, how do you prepare yourself with the Gospel of peace?

I believe you grip and holds firm to your stand in the faith of God, and sharing it with others gives you peace in your soul.

17).   Read very carefully the suit up card for peace overcomes anxiety.

This was good instruction on holding on to the peace of God, and the peace with God.
