BIBLE STUDY "INTRODUCTION" (7/26/15)

BIBLE STUDY: (Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation)
What inspired me to study this subject would be a good question.  I was overwhelmed about our country's decision making, so I begin to talk to God about this in my quiet prayer time, and God through His Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, "These are the end times!" I sit and meditated on this. I actually just sit there and looked up to God for quite some time. I didn't know anything else to do for that period of time, especially after hearing the Supreme Court decision on same sex marriage. I heard in my spirit "Stand firm on God's Word."  You must study to share God's Word with those who need it.  You must study to stay focus on God and His plan and purpose for your life in this pocket of time. Then I heard, "You need to study Daniel and Revelation again.  Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation reveal what will happen in the end times, which much of it has come to pass already. Much of the prophecy has been fulfilled today in our time. We must be ready!  Just consider this: The New Testament in its totality has 260 chapters. In the New Testament alone, the Second Coming of Christ is mentioned 318 times-more than once a chapter! Christ's return is also frequently mentioned in the prophetic books of the Old Testament; and of course, the Book of Revelation offers the greatest detail of all concerning what will happen when He returns. We have the assurance from the Word of God that Jesus is coming again. We must be ready!  I will be studying Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation together in this study. I will be reading the books of Daniel and Revelation through this study.  This study will have a "Did You Know?" and only questions for each study because of the reading assignment.

Suggested reading; Dr. David Jeremiah's book "Agents of the Apocalypse." Good book! I've already order it and now reading it. Very good book!
There will be a salvation prayer at the end of each study for those who may need it.

BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK # 7 (ENDING PRAYER)

Father God, the praises all is Yours for now to eternity. Blessings and praises be Yours, You are worthy of all our praises.  We have learned in this study that our words are powerful, and our words should line-up with Your Word. Each day, Holy Spirit, teach us to speak positive words in our lives, positive words concerning others around us, and that we trust Your Word. Thank You, Lord, for the many blessings in Your Word and Your desire for us to live a good and prosper life, so that it can bring You glory, honor, and praise. All challenges, situations, circumstances, and whatever comes up in our lives can be overcome by the words of our testimony, and by putting faith in Your Word. Thank You for power You have given to us to stand strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. We have also learned that what we talk about, we bring it to pass. We will begin to talk positive, we will declare, command, demand, say, speak good things into our lives. The fruit of our lips with bless Your holy Name. Help us to release our faith to speak powerful words that will be example to others around us in these trouble times. Continue to teach us through the Holy Spirit to stay focus on Your Word, and to stand firm on Your Word until You return to receive us into Your Kingdom forever. This we pray in Jesus' name. AMEN.

BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK # 7 (CONCLUSION)

Words of Encouragement:

Prayer, Believe, and Speak:

Now we have enough information to make a reasonable assessment of Jesus' teaching on prayer in verse twenty-four. First of all, when we pray to God we must believe in Him to do what we ask assuming that our prayers are in line with His will and that there are no objections from Him. In other words, we must exercise faith in God when we pray to God, which is what Jesus said in verse twenty-two of Mark 11. There are numerous times in the Bible where the faith in God of the individual was crucial to the desired outcome.

There is incredible power released by God when we speak to our mountains. A mountain is a situation in your life that seems permanent and impossible. It may be a mountain in your marriage; you don't see how you'll stay together. A mountain in your finances; it doesn't look like you'll ever get out of debt or ever accomplish your dreams. Maybe it's a mountain in your health. The experts have said that you're never going to get well. It's good to pray. It's good to believe. It's good to quote scriptures. But the mountains move when we speak to them in Jesus' powerful name. Learn to say each day, "I speak favor over my finances. I speak health to my body. I speak peace into my family. I speak blessings into my future." Daily I speak this "I am blessed, healed, and highly favored by God."  Every morning I speak this over my life.

Does this teaching apply to us today since Jesus was talking to his disciples? Yes, I believe it does. Consider what Jesus told his disciples before his ascension.

Matthew 28:19 (KJV) "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

This implies that Jesus' teaching on prayer and believing you receive applies to us because the disciples were to teach all people its truths. We therefore can learn about the operation of prayer and the operation of belief and faith in prayer and the things that we say.

Notice: the things that we say. Real confession is simply to say what God has said. Speak to your mountain.

BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK # 7 (REFLECTION)

Question:

What did you learn from this week's study?

This week's study let me know I must look within me to find and change my words to line up with God's Word. I must take responsibility for my words I speak.  Proverbs 18:20 says, there is death and life in the power of my words, WOW! I can be sure of God's Word, and it must be in my heart and mouth. This is one reason why I keep my mind on God's Word by studying every chance I get. I like this saying, "Faith says we believe, therefore we speak." I am aware of what I say now. I am caution and still praying that the Holy Spirit remind me before I speak. I truly believe the Word of God that says, "As believers, we have a right to decree a thing and have it come to pass (Job 22:28; Mark 11:23-24).  I have really got a revelation of this scripture (Mark 11:23-24), and I pray that God would help me to keep it. Believe me, I truly believe that it's not just healing, but my financial, and physical situations too.  Even my relationship with others I speak to the situation that comes between me and my employer, my sisters, my brother, my sons, or just friends.  I speak to these mountains now!  Why study and not apply it to your life? God help me! AMEN.

BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK # 7 (APPLICATION)

Speak to the Mountain: Week 7

Even though I may be surrounded by oppressors, I am never smothered or crushed by them. I may suffer embarrassments and become perplexed, and it may seem that there is no way out, but I still will not be driven to despair. Even though I may be pursued, persecuted, and hard driven, God will never desert me and make me stand alone. Even though I may be struck down to the ground, I will never be struck out or destroyed. No matter what difficulties or obstacles that may come my way, I will never, never, never quit!

I will not faint in the time of adversity because God is with me. I am strong and very courageous. I am persistent and undaunted in my faith. I shall never quit and I will not yield. I will not bow my knee to sickness. I am steadfast and unmovable. I am valiant and fearless, determined and resolute in my faith. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper. I will not lose heart; I will not weaken or cave in. Victory is mine. I am relentless in my pursuit of total and complete wellness and wholeness for my body. (Joshua 1:8, 9; Hebrews 13:5; Hebrews 4:3; 2 Corinthians 4:8-10).

Jesus came that I may have abundant life, but Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. God's will for my life is health and wholeness. Satan's will for my life is destruction, disease, and death. I choose abundant life. I remind you, Satan, that Jesus has already defeated you and taken away your authority to harm me.  And it's in His name that I boldly proclaim: Satan, you are under my feet. I resist you, and I stand steadfast in my faith. I expect you to turn tail and run the other way. In the name of Jesus, I command you to stop and desist in any and all attempts to put sickness or disease on my body.

I take authority over Satan and break the power of any curses or spells that have been spoken over my life. Watch craft, black magic, and all the forces of darkness have no power to affect my body, I cast down and break the power of any strategies, maneuvers, or evil plots that the enemy has set in motion to bring destruction to my life. They shall all come to naught because no weapon that is formed against me will prosper in Jesus' name. (John 10:10; Isaiah 54:17; Deuteronomy 30:19; Luke 9:1; James 4:7; 1 Corinthians 15:57, 58).

We can speak to every mountain in our life, whether its sickness, financial, relationships,  family problems, marriage problems, disobedient children, school problems, job related problems, or whatever that mountain is, you can speak to it in Jesus' name.

BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK # 7 (7/19/15)

BIBLE STUDY: "Speak To the Mountain" Mark 11:23

Date: (7/17/15)

Week # 7

Prayer:

Lord God Almighty, thank You for what You are doing in our lives through these studies. Thank You for help us to see that the power to change is inside of us today. As we study, bless our minds to stay focus on what the Holy Spirit is revealing to us about ourselves. Jesus, You demonstrated the power of the spoken words in our mouth. Teach us daily how to continue to speak these powerful words, so our lives can be an example to all who come across our path in a positive way. Help us to speak positive words, and not negative words. Even though we may be surrounded by oppressors or oppression we will not give into it, but speak to it in Jesus' name. We know that You will never leave us nor forsake us in this world. Father God, let the words of my mouth, the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto You always and forever. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN.

Bible Reading:

Scripture:  Mark 11:23-24:  New English Translation (NET Bible)

23 I tell you the truth, if someone says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Subject:           The power to change is inside you (Deuteronomy 30:11-14).

Let's Study…………..

In order to change your life, you must first change your words.  Everything begins with words.

If you can change your words, you can change your life.  The most powerful thing you possess as a Christian is a tongue.  Your words are so powerful they can literally move mountains (Mark 11:23).  You have been given the authority to speak to the mountains in your life. Talk to your mountains, instead of about your mountains.

You must take responsibility for your words.  A man shall be filled with the fruit of his words—whether good or evil (Proverbs 18:20). Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).  When you are waiting for people to change you, you will minimize the effectiveness and the power of your words.  You are the prophet of your life.  We will all give an account of the words we have spoken—you will be justified or condemned by your words (Matthew 12:36, 37).

The Word of God is the sure thing that must be in your heart and mouth.  Your confession is your profession (Hebrews 4:14, The Amplified Bible).  Faith must be in two places.  Faith must be in your heart and in your mouth.  Your confession is an outward expression of an inward conviction.  Faith says we believe, therefore we speak.

You must believe what you say.  Many believers have short-circuited the manifestation process by continually saying things they do not believe.  It's what you say all the time that postpones the manifestation process from happening immediately.  Believers must monitor what they say. Don't allow your emotions to govern your speech.  Judge your speech and only say what you believe.  This trains your spirit to bring to pass what you say.  When Jesus was hungry and the fig tree had no fruit, He cursed it and saw the manifestation of what He had spoken in one day (Mark 11:12-23).

Jesus was demonstrating the power of words.  As Believers, we have a right to decree a thing and have it come to pass (Job 22:28).  However, we must be sure we are speaking the things we believe.

Monitoring your words will position you to receive the promises of God.  The tongue of the wise is health (Proverbs 12:18).  The mouth of a righteous man are a well of life (Proverbs 10:11).

Whoever keeps his mouth, keeps his soul from trouble (Proverbs 21:23).  Your mouth is responsible for a lot of trouble in your life. You damn yourself and others with your words (Proverbs 16:24).

When you curse, or speak badly of people, you are empowering them to fail. Speak good of, or bless people.

Questions:

1).        In order to change your life, you must do what?

2).        The powerful thing you possess as a Christian is what?

3).        What do Proverbs 18:20 say?

4).        You will be justified and condemned by your_____________.

5).        The Word of God is a sure thing that must be in our ______, and ______.

6).        Its what you say all the time that____ the ____ process from happening immediately.

7).        As believers we have the right to ______ a thing and have it come to pass, (Job 22:28).

8).        Give several reasons Proverbs talk about concerning your tongue or your mouth.

9).        What do Deuteronomy 30:11-14 say?

10).      Give an account of your own life that has change because of the revelation of this study.

Application:

Start the Day with God:

This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I start every day with God by speaking life, health, strength, and vitality into my body because I know God's healing power is at work within me. The nature and life of God are resident in my body, driving out all manner of sickness and disease. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I believe the word of God above anything that I think, feel, or see. His Word says that I have been redeemed from the curse of sickness. His Word says that by Jesus' stripes I am healed.

My body is free from pain, sickness, and disease. It operates effectively and efficiently free from malfunction of any kind. Every part of my body is functioning properly. Every organ, gland, and system is operating in conjunction with each other in perfect harmony, which is exactly how God designed my body to work. My immune system is strong, vibrant, and healthy. Germs, bacteria, viruses, and parasites cannot exist in my body. If any sickness or disease makes any attempt to try and attack my body, then it is quickly destroyed by the power of God's Word working in me. I boldly declare that I am healed, healthy, and whole. (Psalm 118:24;  Isaiah 53:5; Ephesians 6:10; Galatians 3:13).

Application:

Speak to the Mountain: Week 7

Even though I may be surrounded by oppressors, I am never smothered or crushed by them. I may suffer embarrassments and become perplexed, and it may seem that there is no way out, but I still will not be driven to despair.

We can speak to every mountain in our life, whether its sickness, financial, relationships,  family problems, marriage problems, disobedient children, school problems, job related problems, or whatever that mountain is, you can speak to it in Jesus' name.

Application:

End the Day with God:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He quickens me and gives me strength. In Him I find rest, comfort, and peace. Even in the midst of the storms of life. I am calm, cool, and collected because my mind is focused on Jesus. He keeps me in perfect peace. I have confidence in God's Word, and I trust Him to bring it to pass. I am assured that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I cast all my cares on Him; in obedience to God's Word, I choose not to worry or be anxious about anything. I will not allow myself to be fearful and troubled about any circumstance in my life. Health and healing are mine. Jesus paid the price for them and His Word says they're mine. I have released my faith, I have received my healing according to the promise of His Word, and now all that is left for me to do is rest in Him until the complete manifestation of healing comes to pass. My God has promised to give His beloved sweet sleep. Therefore, I receive a full night sleep every night, and I fully expect to wake up in the morning refreshed, revitalized, and raring to go. (Isaiah 26:3; Deuteronomy 4:31; Proverbs 3:24; Hebrews 13:5)

Discovery: Week # 7   Elijah and Elisha spoke the Word

I King 18:41-46

The Drought Ends……..The oldest of these two men

41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain."42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again." 44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.' 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

2 Kings 8:1-6

The King Restores the Shunammite's Land……youngest of these two men

Then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, "Arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can; for the Lord has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years." So the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God, and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the Philistines seven years.

It came to pass, at the end of seven years, that the woman returned from the land of the Philistines; and she went to make an appeal to the king for her house and for her land. Then the king talked with Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, saying, "Tell me, please, all the great things Elisha has done." Now it happened, as he was telling the king how he had restored the dead to life, that there was the woman whose son he had restored to life, appealing to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, "My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life." And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed a certain officer for her, saying, "Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now."

These two men knew the power of speaking to the mountain; they had problems, but they continue to trust God.

Reflection Question: What did you learn from this week's study?

Ending Prayer:

Father God, grant me the knowledge I need to speak to the mountain, and with that knowledge understanding, so that I can use wisdom to move mountains out of my life. This knowledge that I have received now I give You praises. I desire to walk in victory just as Jesus did when He walked on this earth, amen.
