Yes it does! In Psalm 7:17 says, "I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high." (Luke 11:2). There are so many other scriptures that tell us to honor God's Name and Who He is.

Yes, holiness is a prime characteristic of who God really is, and why He desire us to be holy as He is.

5).    According to OT what are we asking when we say those words? "Hallowed be Thy Name,"

Jesus taught us this prayer through His disciples and we should be asking that God reveal His glory through His name in this earth. The OT patriarch honored God's name as well as who He was.  This is giving God the glory He deserve.

We should be asking for God to receive glory, honor, and praise. We should be exalting Him as this Psalm says, "I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.  My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.  Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.  (Psalm. 34:1-3). I like that word "boast!"

Yes, and yes again!!  Personally speaking, I know He does. God has showed Himself to be the One and only true God in this universe. Since God changed my life there has been awesome things happen to help me know that God deserve the glory, honor, and all the praise. AMEN.
